Jama Ali (3rd year Business student) won 1st place and $2000 in the 2008 Entrepreneurs for a Cause Competition for his plan on a Borehole for the Impoverished.
Lance Taylor and David Gee (both 2nd year Applied Science students) won 1st place and $2000 in the 2008 Innovative Idea Competition for their Mobile Detachable Hand Prosthetic Innovation.
Claire Bouvier (4th year Arts student) won 1st place and $2000 dollars for demonstrating her personal entrepreneurship in the Personal Entrepreneurship Competition.
Jeffrey Roy and Emily Rahn (both 4th year Business students) won 1st place and $6000 for their plan for the Fall Line Lodge in the Wes Nicol Business Plan Competition
